  1. Day 1 Hello, NorthEast

    Arrive at Guwahati and make your way to Dibrugarh via train.

  2. Day 2 Meet the Galo Tribe

    Start your journey to Tirbin via a ferry across the mighty Brahmaputra. The journey towards Tirbin through picturesque roads flanked by the Subansiri river will commence. Interact with the Galo tribe and retire for the night.

  3. Day 3 Trek Begins

    The trek starts today. The 6 hour trek will be done along the Rimi river crossing at least 5 Galo tribal village homes on the river bank. The height of this route is approximately 2000 feet with an average temperature of 15-20 degrees in summer.

  4. Day 4 Another day in the forest

    Wake up to the sound of the gurgling river and after breakfast get ready for a 7-8 hour moderate trek towards Yomcha passing through thick forests.

  5. Day 5 Leisure Day

    After two days of extensive trekking, we spend the whole day in Yomcha interacting with the local people as well as partaking in activities such as Rock climbing and caving. We also pay a visit to a nearby Tea Garden, where we enjoy some of the world’s best best freshly brewed tea.

  6. Day 6 Zigzag to Darak

    The next leg of the trek takes you to Darak through a virgin forest area. This part of the trek is the most enjoyable with zigzag routes as our guide describes, making you feel like you are passing through one of your childhood drawings. Overnight camp next to the river.

  7. Day 7 Kamba Valley

    The final leg of the trek takes us to the beautiful and small Kamba valley. The distance between Darak and Kamba can be covered in approximately 4 hours accompanied by the gurgling river and mesmerized by the smell of the Deodar trees.

  8. Day 8 Journey back

    Drive from Along to Dibrugarh and catch the overnight train.

  9. Day 9 Bid Goodbye to the North East

    Reach Guwahati and make your way to your respective homes or next destinations.

You can tell your folks back home about the hospitality of the remote Galo tribe as you sleep in their homes.

Please carry basic stuff like tooth, brush, shorts, slippers, change of clothes.
1 sweater/jacket as the temperatures will be low, and a sleeping bag (optional).

We will have pick up and drop facility to and from the Guwahati airport once you share the arrival time of your flight.

Campsite: Please avoid carrying plastic bottles or even buying sealed bottles while at the venue as want to have a litter free zone as much as possible.
