All about ChaloHoppo to Majuli and Pasighat.

The Mising tribe inhabiting Assam’s and the world’s largest river island -Majuli and the Adi’s of Arunachal Pradesh share a fair bit of cultural similarities, though the landscapes and panoramic beauty of this trip cutting across the two states are contrasting.

In Majuli be surrounded by a brownish and vast Brahmaputra river,  with empty river banks making you feel as if you were in the Rann of Kutch, all of it while driving through the plains of Assam and living in traditional huts on stilts. In Pasighat, shaped by the path of the Siang river and its turquoise waters, raft away under the vigil of the Arunachali mountains.
